No catalogue or exhibition list traced. Now often referred to as the Scrolls exhibition. The invitation reads: ’There are 50, more or less, of these Written Paintings and Drawings, all on paper, and each approximately 62 inches by 22 inches’. Documentary evidence suggests that there were, in fact, as many as 72 of these Scroll works exhibited, pinned to the wall abutted to one another.
