One of a number of preparatory drawings for the Rodney Kennedy Otago Peninsula painting. This drawing has projection lines and has been squared-up for enlargement. The slightly irregularly shaped cardboard mount also carries three photographs taken by R. N. O'Reilly for the Fleischl's Otago Peninsula painting.
